A Magnehelic gauge is used to measure the differential pressure across a filter in an ambient air cleaner. Its primary purpose is to indicate the pressure difference between the clean and dirty sides of the filter. As the filter collects particles, the pressure drop increases, which helps determine when the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. Monitoring this pressure ensures that the air cleaner is functioning effectively and maintaining proper airflow while preventing damage to the system from clogged filters.
A silencer on an ambient air cleaner helps to reduce the noise generated by the air intake and exhaust processes of the system. A silencer absorbs and dissipates sound waves, significantly lowering the noise level produced by the air cleaner. Lower noise levels can create a more comfortable and less disruptive environment for employees or people nearby, improving overall working conditions. By reducing the noise and vibrations associated with the air cleaner, a silencer can help reduce wear on internal components, potentially extending the lifespan of the system.
The Eye Bolt with Chain mounting option is an excellent option for our lighter units single configuration units. The chains can mount to the rafters and hook to the eye bolts, which screw into the unit. The Eye Bolt with Chain mounting kits are available for purchase with the applicable units.
The L-Brackets are an excellent mounting option for our single configuration units, if you have a wall available. The L-Bracket mounting kits are available for purchase with the applicable units.
The Strut Channel with Chain mounting option is an excellent option for our heavier single and multi units. The chains can mount to the rafters and hook to the eye bolts, which screw into the under-mounted channel strut.
